6th graders in Ms. Hemphill's ELA class completed reading ATLAS style reading prompts, based on the eclipse, all this week. Today, these students tested the theories they learned. The sheer shock and wonder of our students as they applied evidence based learning/research method was utterly amazing. The homemade cell phone solar filter designed by our kiddos was AWESOME!

PCSSD is currently experiencing an internet outage that covers almost every school in the District. One of the main fiber lines was cut and caused the outage. AT&T has been notified and will fix the issue. However, we do not have an estimated duration for the outage other than that it will be "an extensive repair." We appreciate your patience.
