
MILLS UNIVERSITY STUDIES HIGH is hosting the interim assessment concerts today (Tuesday, Feb. 22) and Thursday (Feb. 24). The assessments are for band and orchestra at all PCSSD secondary schools. The concerts are free and open to the public.

As part of Black History Month lessons in February, AVID students picked a Black American to research. Student found that person's college and major, then wrote about that college. Some students chose SHMS teachers while others selected famous chose famous black Americans.
