Last weekend, our choir students attended 2024 Region 2- All Region Junior High Choir auditions. Out of nearly 1,000 choir students who auditioned, 18 students from SHMS Choir made the cut! Only 20-30 students per voice part were selected for each choir. All of the SHMS students selected were 7th graders who competed against 7-9th graders. Way to go SHMS Choir!!
Huge shout-out to our 7th Grade Volleyball and 7th Grade Football teams for their big wins over the Robinson Senators! 🏐🏈 The Bears showed up and dominated—way to go, teams! 🐻💪
And let’s not forget our talented students who absolutely SHINED at the Fall Concert tonight! 🎶👏 You all were incredible, and we are SO proud of the hard work and dedication you put into your performance!

Mr. Malcolm Willis, owner of local clothing company Young Fresh, came to speak to Ms. Moore's Spanish II class. The students learned about the company history, entrepreneurship and business. He even brought everyone a free shirt! After his visit, students wrote a paragraph in Spanish about the experience. We are thankful for our community partners like Mr. Willis and unique learning opportunities!
